Fulfill at least Rs 1 lakh crore ACP target, Sushil Modi tells banks

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today asked banks to disburse at least one lakh crore rupees to fulfill the target of Annual Credit Plan of 1.10 lakh crore by the end of the current fiscal.

He said banks have disbursed loans of over 73 thousand crore rupees out of the total target of 1.10 lakh crore rupees fixed for the current fiscal.

Mr Sushil Modi, who also holds the Finance portfolio, was speaking to reporters after holding the 63rd quarterly State Level Bankers' Committee meet in Patna.

He expressed concern over the low level of Credit-Deposit ratio at 41.67 per cent in the state against the national average of 73 per cent.
