India is ready to deal with any challenge & will take all measures to maintain its territorial integrity: Nirmala Sitharaman

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said India is ready to deal with any challenge and will take all measures to maintain its territorial integrity. She said this while interacting with news persons in Dehradun yesterday.

The Minister said India is very much cautious in dealing with Doklam issue. She said, the Centre has taken several new initiatives to modernize all the three defence forces. 

Earlier, Ms. Sitharaman felicitated 140 candidates selected for the Indian Military Academy and the National Defence Academy. She said, the government is always ready to give every assistance to the soldiers and their families. She announced to set up a command hospital with modern facilities in the mountainous region of Uttarakhand.
