PM Modi to visit Russia next week for informal summit with Vladimir Putin

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Russia on 21st of this month for an informal Summit with President Vladimir Putin in Sochi city. 

In a statement, External Affairs Ministry said, this informal Summit is in keeping with the tradition of regular consultations between India and Russia at the highest level. 

The statement said, this visit will be an important occasion for the two leaders to exchange views on international matters in a broad and long-term perspective. 

Both the leaders will also discuss their respective national developmental priorities and bilateral matters. 

The ministry said the visit will further strengthen the special and privileged strategic partnership between the two sides.
