Singapore's Sentosa island to be venue for US President Trump & North Korean leader Kim Jong Un summit

The Capella Hotel, a luxury resort on Singapore's Sentosa Island, will be the venue for the June 12 summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted that the meeting will be at the Capella Hotel, a luxury resort on Sentosa Island. Sanders added that the United States thanks to their great Singaporean hosts for their hospitality. Earlier, Trump said that his meeting with Kim would hopefully be the start of something big.

Trump hopes to secure a nuclear deal with the North Koreans, though he stressed last week that the process would likely take longer than a single meeting.
