Cabinet approves transfer of four acres of Defence land in perpetuity basis to KVS

The Union Cabinet has approved the transfer of four acres of Defence land in perpetuity basis to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) for the construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 4 at Kandhar Lines, Delhi Cantt  at a nominal rent of one rupee per annum.

Besides, it also approved the transfer of 7.5 acres of A-1 Defence land on lease in perpetuity basis at a nominal rent of one rupee per annum to KVS for the construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 4 in Survey No. 408, Jalandhar Cantt.

The Cabinet also  approved transfer of 7.118 acres of Defence land to KVS for construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya Number 2 Dhar Road in District Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir at a nominal rent of one rupee per annum.
