11 people killed in Pak road accident

In Pakistan, at least 11 people were killed and  several others injured when a speeding passenger bus crashed into a van and a car in Sindh province.

Police today said the three-vehicle crash took place on Daur road near Nawabshah district. Rescuers attended to the victims, including women and children, who were immediately taken to Peoples Medical College in Nawabshah. Police said road accidents are common in Pakistan.

Most of them occur due to bad roads, old and poorly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
