J&K: 13 Amarnath pilgrims injured in road accident


In Jammu and Kashmir, thirteen Amarnath pilgrims were injured in a road accident as a vehicle in the cavaclade carrying them collided with a truck near Birma Birdge on bypass of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur this morning.

Police told AIR that the injured were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where the condition of two of the injured pilgrims is said to be critical. The injured pilgrims are from Jhansi and Gwalior. 

The ill fated vehicle was the part of the cavaclade that left Jammu base camp early this morning for Srinagar.
