The Lok Sabha was briefly adjourned this morning following the protest by TRS members on the issue of non-allocation of defence land. As soon as the House met, TRS members tried to raise the issue but Speaker Sumitra Mahajan did not allow them saying they can raise it during Zero Hour. Following this, the members trooped into the well raising slogans.

Party MP Jitendra Reddy said Telangana government has been continuously requesting transfer of defence land to the state for the last two years but nothing has been done in this regard. He was demanding the Minister’s reply over the issue but Speaker turned  down the request. As the noisy scenes continued, Ms Mahajan adjourned the House till 11:25 AM.
