CJP
Forms for claims, objections and corrections of the draft National Register of Citizens are being made available at the NRC Seva Kendras in Assam from today.

The forms can also be downloaded from www.nrcassam.nic.in

Submission and receipt of claims, objections and corrections forms will start from the 30th of August to 28th of September.

Forty lakh names have not appeared in the complete NRC draft. Official sources said that applicants who do not find their names in the complete NRC draft would get ample opportunity to prove their eligibility for inclusion in the final NRC.

Claims and objections can only be submitted at the Seva Kendras but corrections can also be made online. Final NRC will be published only after disposal of all claims, objections and corrections.
