PM Modi to attend two-day BIMSTEC summit in Nepal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a two-day BIMSTEC summit in Nepal from 30th of this month.

Briefing media in New Delhi, Secretary (East) in the External Affairs Ministry, Preeti Saran said, ways to counter terrorism and radicalisation will be discussed during the summit.

She said, the Prime Minister will hold separate bilateral meetings with the participating leaders of member countries. Several MoUs in different areas is expected to be inked during the summit. 

A declaration to give a further roadmap to the BIMSTEC will be issued at the end of the summit.
