J&K police has taken number of initiatives to counter Pakistan's campaign on social media: DGP S P Vaid

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, S.P. Vaid has said the state police has taken a number of initiatives to counter Pakistan's campaign on social media to mislead the youth of the Kashmir valley.

Talking to media persons on the sidelines of a function at Vijaypur in Samba district today, the State Police Chief informed that police has set up media centers at Range, District and Zonal levels across the state to curb the menace and disseminate the constructive information.

He added that a number of Facebook accounts unleashing misleading agenda have also been blocked. He said that a number of misguided youth in the Valley have been returning to mainstream.
