Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad initiates cleanliness drive in at Electronics Niketan

As part of the Swachhta Hi Sewa movement, Union Minister of Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad initiated a cleanliness drive in his Ministry at Electronics Niketan on Monday. 
 
The Minister stressed on the fact that the Swachh Bharat mission launched in October 2014 has today become a mass movement. 
 
He asked the Ministry officials to emulate the success of Digital India and make India clean by dedicating two hours per week voluntarily for cleanliness. A tree plantation drive was also carried out in the Ministry premises.
 
Mr Prasad also appreciated the critical role National Informatics Centre is playing in bridging the urban rural digital divide, taking Digital India to villages and reaching the unreached.
