India slams Pakistan for its remarks at UN General Assembly on Peshawar school attack

ANI
India has strongly hit back at Pakistan at the United Nations for its preposterous allegation that the 2014 Peshawar school attack was supported by India.

Exercising India's Right of Reply, Indian diplomat from the country's Permanent Mission to the UN, Eenam Gambhir termed Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi's allegation made during his General Assembly address as baseless.

Ms Gambhir said, the allegation was a desperate attempt to look away from the monster of terror Pakistan has created in its quest to destabilise its neighbours and covet their territory.

She asked if Pakistan can deny the fact that it is the host and patron of 132 of the UN-designated terrorists and 22 terrorist entities listed under the UN Security Council Sanctions regimes.

The diplomat termed Pakistan's allegation as despicable insinuation which dishonours the memory of the children killed in the attack.
She reminded the new Pakistan government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, that there was sorrow and pain in India following the attack on children and that both Houses of Parliament had expressed solidarity while paying respects to those killed.

On Pakistan again raking up the Kashmir issue at the UN, Ms Gambhir made it clear to the new Pakistan government that the entire state of Jammu and Kashmir is and will remain an integral part of India.
