PM Narendra Modi meets medal winners of 2018 Summer Youth Olympics

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met the medal winners of the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics which was held in Argentina and felicitated them. 

According to an official release, the Prime Minister urged them to remain focused and work harder to achieve their goal of reaching the podium in the coming Olympics. Mr Modi assured the athletes that Government will provide adequate support and facilities to them.

He said, the young athletes should inspire youngsters in their schools and villages to take up sports. The Prime Minister also complimented the coaches of the medal winners for their contribution in raising India's profile on the global stage.
