Mizoram: Campaigning for Assembly polls gain momentum

In Mizoram, campaigning for the Assembly polls on November 28th gained momentum with major parties canvassing door-to-door in all constituencies.

Meanwhile,  Assembly Speaker and Congress leader Mr. Hiphei submitted his resignation today to the Dy. speaker R Lalrinawma. He  joined BJP  quiting ruling Congress.

Speaking to media persons at the state BJP office Mr. Hiphei said  that he will work for the success  of  BJP in the coming state Assembly election. He added  that he has quit primary membership of Congress party. Mr Hiphei was denied Assembly ticket  from Saiha constituency  by the Congress.
