Mizoram: Campaigning picks up for 40 seated state Assembly elections across state

In Mizoram, campaigning for the 40 seated state Assembly elections has picked up across the state.

The state is going to poll on 28th of this month. While ruling Congress is campaigning on its main poll plank of growth and development, the opposition parties refuting these claims and accusing Congress of underdevelopment and corruption.

Today is the last date of withdrawal of candidature. So far 212 candidates' nominations have been accepted during scrutiny by the election commission.
