Mizoram: 209 candidates including 15 women in fray after withdrawal of nominations

In Mizoram, 209 candidates including 15 women have been left in the fray after withdrawal of nominations. The state will go to polls on the 28th of this month to elect a new 40-member assembly. 

"Congress said if it is voted to power, the present New Land Use Policy scheme will be augmented for more livelihood benefit. The Congress leaders said this in rallies in Mamit district yesterday. 

On the other side, in a rally at Khawzawl, MNF Party's Sr. Vice President Tawnluia said they are committed to creating 3 new districts in Khawzawl, Saitual and Hnahthial.

While, in a rally at Lunglei, BJP leader Dr Aichhunga said BJP is the only corruption-free Party. He said they will implement more schemes of Modi government for development of the state if they come to power.
