In Mizoram, electioneering has gained momentum. All major parties are organising campaign meetings and door-to-door canvassing.

Training on election expenditure for party candidates is being imparted by the election expenditures monitoring cell in all districts.

The state is going to poll on 28th of this month to elect 40 member state Assembly.

Addressing a campaign meeting in Champhai South yesterday, BJP candidate Ronghaka Colney said they will build a new Mizoram if voted to power. He said the farmers can earn more, as the Modi government at Centre is providing adequate support for agricultural marketing.

On the other, ZPM Party's vice-president Dr. Kenneth Chawngliana in a press meet ruled out the possibility of their candidate's falling prey into horse-trading.
