Representational Pic
In Chhattisgarh, with just two days left for campaigning for second phase of Assembly elections to end, candidates as well as senior leaders of various parties are leaving no stone unturned to win the voters. BJP President Amit Shah, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and other senior leaders of BJP will address election rallies at various places today, with Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi also scheduled to hold public meetings in different districts.

Here ruling BJP is expecting the fourth consecutive victory, on the basis of its development works done during last 15 years. On the other hand, the opposition Congress is banking on its promise to waive off the loan of farmers within 10 days of formation of its government in the state as well as 15 years anti-incumbency of the BJP government.

Price rise, corruption, MSP of Paddy and unemployment are the other issues being raised by the opposition parties during campaign. The alliance of Bahujan Samaj Party and Janta congress Chhattisgarh has made the contest multi cornered in most of the constituencies. This also changed the political scenario in Chhattisgarh which has so far seen bi-polar politics.
