Electioneering gains momentum in Mizoram for upcoming Assembly Elections

Electioneering has gained momentum in Mizoram for the upcoming Assembly Elections. With just a week to go for polling, scheduled on 28th November, campaigning by major parties has been intensified in the state. 

Today, BJP President Amit Shah is touring the state today to campaign for his party. Addressing rally at Lawngtlai, he said BJP will give priority to overall development of the state.

Congress party President Rahul Gandhi is also campaigning in the state today. AIR correspondent reports that addressing a rally at Lawngtlai BJP President Amit Shah said, overall  development of the state will be put foremost if voted to power. He accused the Congress party of sidelining rural areas and the people keeping them in a state of poverty.
He will also make a stop over at Aizawl, Champhai and Vairengte to address rallies. On the other side, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has also joined his party's campaign today. He is addressing a rally in Champhai and will also visit Aizawl.
