Electioneering gains momentum in Mizoram

In Mizoram, electioneering has gained momentum. With just a few days to go for polling on 28th of this month, campaigning by major parties is being intensified across the state. Chief Electoral Officer Ashish Kundra today said that the arrangements are put in place for Bru voters to cast their votes in Kanhmun village.

Polling arrangements for Bru displaced people are put in place. CEO Ashish Kundra said that the polling parties will reach Kanhmun, in Mamit district tonight. In Kanhmun, polling stations are being set up for Bru Voters from Relief camps.

On liquer issue, Chief Minister and Pradesh Congress President Lal Thanhawla today said they had to choose between the evil and lesser evil. Congress claimed that during liquer-prohibition regime it was abundantly available in the state. Also said, they will consult Churches on liquer Policy, if voted to power. 

While, star campaingers like Minister for DoNER Dr. Jitendra Singh, Assam Finance Minister and NEDA convener Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma are on campaign for BJP candidates.
