World leaders to honor George HW Bush

World leaders are arriving in the United States for the final rites of former president George HW Bush.

He died at age 94 at his home in Houston. Senior Bush will be given a state funeral at Washington's National Cathedral, just three miles from the White House.

Britain's Prince Charles, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan, and former Polish president Lech Walesa, will join late President's funeral.

President Donald Trump has declared tomorrow a National Day of Mourning in honor of the 41st president, who managed the end of the Cold War and forged a global coalition to oust Iraqi forces from Kuwait.
