ISRO all set for GSLV-F11/GSAT-7A mission on Dec 19

The Indian Space Research Organisation is all set to launch communication satellite GSAT-7A from Sriharikota on December 19. GSAT-7A is the 35th Indian Communication satellite built by the ISRO.

The satellite will enable the Indian Air Force to interlink different ground radar stations, ground airbase and airborne early warning and control aircraft. The satellite weighs 2,250 kilograms. GSLV-F11 will inject GSAT-7A into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit.
