At least four people were killed after a gas explosion tore through a residential building in Russia on Monday.

A large section of the building in the central Russian city of Magnitogorsk collapsed as a result, leaving hundreds without a home in freezing temperatures.

Sixteen people, including seven children, have been evacuated. Nearly 70 people remain unaccounted for.

Officials warned that two more sections of the Soviet-era building are in danger of collapsing.
