The BJP today accused the CPI(M) led Kerala government of state sponsored violence in the State.

Briefing reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao said, there is a conspiracy behind the violence related to Sabarimala issue to give it the political colour.

He alleged that State-sponsored violence is being unleashed against the BJP cadres in Kerala.

He said Sabarimala issue is an issue of devotees not an issue of the BJP.

Mr Narasimha warned the CPI(M) to stop alleged violence against BJP cadres or they will face consequences as per constitutional provisions.
