Mauritian PM, over 3200 guests of 15th PBD visit Kumbh Mela

Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and more than 3200 guests of 15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas today visited Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.

Mr Jugnauth visited the Sangam, Hanuman temple, Akshaya Vat and Kumbh’s newly developed integrated command, control centre in Prayagraj. Mr Jugnauth thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to invite him as a Chief guest of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas. 

He said this visit will further consolidate the deep relations between India and Mauritius. Mr Jugnauth appreciated the excellent arrangements made for the mela. He said it is a unique spiritual experience. 
AIR correspondent reports, "the Pravasi Bharatiya have been welcomed in a grand colorful event in tent city.

Most of the guests took holy dip at Sangam. During the day long visit the guests were visited to Akshaya Vat, Saraswati Kup, Hanuman Temple, Sanskriti Gram and Kala gram.

All Pravasi Bharatiya have mesmerised with the spirituality and culture they have experienced in Kumbh Mela. They praised the efforts of government for making their trip memorable.
