In UAE, hundreds of Indian expats gathered at the Indian Consulate in Dubai and the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi to pay floral tribute to the martyred CRPF personnel at the Indian Consulate in Dubai. They also participated in a candle light vigil to pay their homage to the soldiers who made their supreme sacrifice for the country.

Cutting across religious lines, hundreds queued to pay their homage and share their grief and express solidarity with the families of the martyred CRPF personnel.

In Dubai it was Consul General Vipul who led the Indian Community in Dubai in paying tributes to the bravehearts of CRPF while in Abu Dhabi it was Ambassador Navdeep Suri .

Cries of “Vande mataram” and “Bharta ke Veer amar rahen” echoed the area.
The Indian Community in Dubai also took pledge to remove the scourge of terrorism in any form and vowed to keep the territorial integrity of the Jammu and Kashmir region.

Mr Suri said one help the relatives and families of those soldiers who gave up their lives for the country. He also sounded out a staunch warning by saying that Indians will neither forgive or forget what has happened and neither the terrorists groups nor their the masters will be forgiven. He said they will pay a heavy price.

Ambassador Suri said the gravity of outrage was such that more than 50 countries have condemned the attack and offered support to India and UAE was among the first to express solidarity with India on February 14th  itself.
