Govt has eliminated Unmanned Level Crossings in whole broad-gauge network: Railway Minister

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal today said, the government has eliminated Unmanned Level Crossings in the whole broad-gauge network in the country.

Speaking in the Lok Sabha during the Question Hour today, Mr Goyal said, there is not a single Unmanned Level Crossing in the broad-gauge network in the country presently.

Replying to a question on whether the government has any proposal to revamp all railway stations of aspirational districts in the near future, the Minister said, as many as 87 of the 115 aspirational districts have been connected with the rail network.
