Pakistan: At least 13 killed, 34 injured in road accident

At least 13 people were killed and 34 others injured when an over-speeding passenger bus turned upside down near Pakistan's capital city Islamabad today.

According to police rescue officials, the passenger bus was on its way to Lahore from Swat when the accident took place at an interchange near Hassan Abdaal, as the driver lost the control while negotiating a turn.

The injured have been shifted to hospitals of Hassan Abdal, Texila and Wah Cantt, the police said.
