Govt to promote production of honey to increase job opportunities in rural, tribal areas

The government has planned to promote large-scale production of honey to increase job opportunities in rural and tribal areas. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari today met Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawarchand Gehlot and Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda in this regard in New Delhi today. 

They discussed that how employment avenues can be generated through encouraging honey production by micro, small and medium enterprises. Mr Gadkari said, all related departments will soon meet and formulate an integrated policy in this regard.
