Arun Jaitley’s ashes immersed in holy Ganga river in UP

In Uttar Pradesh, the ashes of former Union Finance Minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley were immersed in the holy Ganga river at Manikarnika Ghat today.

His son Rohan Jaitley, aboard the steamer, carried his father's ashes into the Ganges with moist eyes amidst vedic chanting rituals. Earlier family members of Late Arun Jaitley arrived at Babatpur airport. From there, a convoy of vehicles with ashes in an urn reached BJP office at Neechi Bagh where BJP workers and officials paid tribute to the late leader’s ashes.
