Spain lift maiden World Cup Football title beating the Netherlands one- nil

Spain have lifted their maiden World Cup Football title. In a drama-filled summit clash at the Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday night, they beat the Netherlands One-Nil.

AIR correspondent reports that Spain now have the distinction of holding the World Cup title and also the European Championship title at the same time, a feat only achieved by West Germany in 1974.
